Useful information about our Liverpool music lessons, fees and booking a taster.
How much are piano lessons?
Group piano is £66 per month for one hour each week. Preschool classes are £30 per month for 30 minutes each week on weekdays before 3pm. Eligible home education, preschool and adult 1:1 lessons before 3pm on weekdays are £65 per month. Individual lessons after 3pm on weekdays and all day Saturday are £73.50 per month.
Do you offer sibling or additional instrument discounts?
Yes. There is £5 off the second lesson and £10 off the third lesson, whether for a sibling or an additional instrument. Discounts are capped at £10 per class.
Can children try a lesson before enrolling?
Yes. The first taster lesson is free and there is no registration fee. Browse the taster booking form to see available sessions before entering your details.
What happens in a group piano lesson?
Our one-hour group lessons include 30 minutes of piano playing and 30 minutes of music theory games and practical activities. Children receive individual guidance and can work at different stages within the same class.
Do you teach adults?
Yes. Adult lessons on weekdays before 3pm are £65 per month. Adult lessons at other times are £73.50 per month. Ask us about available sessions.
Do you offer preschool and home education lessons?
Yes. Preschool classes, preschool individual lessons and home education individual lessons are available on weekdays before 3pm. Contact us to discuss suitable classes and availability.
Are books included, and are exams compulsory?
Normal books and learning materials are included. Exams are optional, and exam entry fees are charged separately.
Where are lessons held?
Lessons are held at Speke Training & Education Centre, Evans Road, Speke Boulevard, Liverpool, L24 9HZ. Car parking and wheelchair access are available.
When is the school closed?
The 2026–27 teaching calendar lists teaching days, school holiday breaks and bank holiday closures. The teaching year runs from 7 September 2026 to 17 July 2027.
